Microsoft wants you to use their search engine Live.com (they are trying to beat out Google), and they are willing to pay you to do it! eBay is one of their participating merchants. When you use Live.com to find items to buy on eBay, Microsoft will give you 30% cashback on many of your eBay BUY IT NOW purchases if you pay with PayPal. It sounds too good to be true, but it really is the truth. I use it myself when I buy on eBay and other places. It’s called the Microsoft Live Search CashBack Rewards Program. ALL of the Buy It Now purchases you make from our eBay store Uncommon Finds qualify for this cashback program because we do not use a third-party checkout system and we’re not selling vehicles or real estate. Imagine … you will get 30% of your money back! So on a $50 purchase, you’ll pocket $15. On a $500 purchase, you’ll pocket $150. And so on!! The best part about it is you can do this 6 times each year per eBay account to pocket up to $1,200! Act now because there’s no word on how long this Microsoft promotion will last. You’ll see verification before you actually commit to buy, so there’s no need to worry that it won’t work. If you follow the rules, it will work. It takes literally just a couple of extra minutes to shop this way. Ready to start saving? Here’s a quick outline** of what you’ll need to do before hitting the eBay Buy It Now button at Uncommon Finds along with some screenshots: 1. Write down the item number or exact title of the item you wish to purchase from us. You’ll need to be able to find it again a few minutes from now when your CashBack account is set up. 2. Make sure your browser is configured to accept cookies. You can temporarily allow them just for this purchase and then go back and reset them until next time if you want. To enable cookies in Internet Explorer, go to Tools/Internet Options/Privacy/Accept All Cookies. (Slide the bar all the way to the bottom.) 3. CLICK HERE to sign up for a Microsoft Live Search CashBack account. 4. Go to live.com and enter a popular search term such as “iphone”, "wii", "xbox", "ps3", "gold", “gold coin”, for example.) It’s OK if you’re not going to buy one of those items, this is just the simplest way to make sure you get directed right to eBay. 5. Click
on the Live Search cashback link next to the result for www.ebay.com in the gray sponsored sites area at the top or bottom of the
page. (If it isn’t there for some reason, just hit refresh until you see a
cashback link there.) Make sure you open this link in the same browser window,
not in a new window. 6. You
will now be automatically taken to eBay -- from there search for your auction
number or title. You should see the Microsoft cashback logo at the top of your
page. Now hit the BUY IT NOW button. (If you place an AUCTION bid or a
BEST OFFER it will not work.) 7. Before 'Committing to Buy', be sure the CashBack details are shown on the
screen with the proper 30% off the item’s value. 8. Hit the
Commit to Buy button, then check
out and pay with PayPal.
You can log into your LiveSearch account any time to check how much money
is accumulating. ** Please read the rules at http://pages.ebay.com/cashbackoffer/terms.html and also the link to the terms on Microsoft’s cashback site and verify that you are abiding by the promotion's guidelines as we cannot be responsible for failure to abide by the rules. We are in no way responsible for the cashback segment of this transaction. That part is up to you as the buyer. Even though eBay doesn't show up in the alphabetical list of stores on the LiveSearch cashback page, they ARE participating in the program. They are not technically a "store" since millions of different sellers offer their goods on eBay, so perhaps that's why. I called eBay myself and spoke with a representative who verified they are in fact in the program. The real proof came when the Microsoft CashBack green button showed up during the buying process (as shown in the screenshots above) and when I received my cashback credit. Some of the fine print is: it takes 60 days before you will have access to the cashback funds, you can only earn Microsoft Live Search CashBack Rewards one time per hour, and the rewards are not credited if the merchandise is returned / order is cancelled. Be sure to read complete rules and follow them, and you're good to go. Here’s an awesome part of the fine print: eBay says you can do this 6 times per year PER eBay account … so if you have more than one eBay account, you can multiply your savings over and over and save THOUSANDS of dollars all year long! * Please note
that Microsoft periodically changes the percentage rate of cashback. At the time
of this writing it is 30%, but it has been 25% and varying rates in the past.
Since we filled you in on this best-kept shopping secret, please BUY ONE OF OUR EBAY ITEMS TODAY!! Here are a few of the HUNDREDS of eBay items in stock:
(By the way, with Microsoft Live Search CashBack you can also earn cash back at Walmart.com, newegg.com, barnesandnoble.com, and other merchants. Their cashback percentages are not as generous as eBay's, however.)
Here's another way to get money back on your eBay purchases ... Big Crumbs. This one works on auctions, Best Offers, and Buy It Now items, with few restrictions. However, you'll only earn a percentage of the fees the seller paid, it's not cashback on your actual purchase amount. But every little bit adds up. You'll also get cash back at other popular online retailers (over 125 stores) and earn extra cash when other people shop. Click here for details!!
